Alaska Safe Sports Schools
Two schools in Alaska to date have received the Safe Sports School award: Chugiak High School in 2018, and most recently Monroe Catholic High School in 2020.
What is it?
The Safe Sports School award acknowledges the process a secondary school has undertaken to ensure their athletic programs are held to a high standard and take vital steps to provide the safest environment possible to help keep their athletes injury free.
